Where we can, we offer support through things like free rent, storage space, and sponsorship, helping small businesses and community initiatives grow and thrive.

Here are some recent community activities our team have been involved in:

ECO MATTERS

EcoMatters brings people together to protect and enhance our local environment for the good of all. Through the practice of kaitiakitanga (guardianship), participants take part in a variety of activities that foster connection, strengthen relationships with nature, and inspire meaningful environmental action. Juliette recently joined stream rangers Pam and Alanah to help care for the beautiful waterways in the heart of Glen Eden, West Auckland. Along with hard work, there was plenty of fun and the chance to meet others in our community who share a passion for caring for the land. There’s so much to learn about environmental restoration and invasive weeds, and it’s inspiring to see our native plants thriving again.

VOLUNTEER WELLINGTON - TE RITO GARDENS

Five of our team members recently spent time at Te Rito Gardens - a much-loved local Porirua organisation. Te Rito is a network of volunteers united to make Porirua a greener place. From diverse backgrounds, Te Rito gives their time in support of the environment and each other. Our team rotated through tasks including propagating, weeding, planting, mulching, and contributing to special projects. It was great to learn more about what is happening in our local Porirua community.

SWEET & CO CUSTOM MURAL

Sweet & Co is a local bakery in Cannons Creek serving some amazing sweet treats! Neil and Terry headed on side to inject some on-brand sweets wallpaper into their space. It is great to support a thriving local business that is very popular among the local community.

FAMILY BAKERY CUSTOM MURAL

Every year we do a Christmas message to wrap up the year. In 2024, we wanted to focus on giving back at Christmas time. Our local bakery, the Family Bakery, was affected by consistent road works on the main road, causing poor access to the bakery. We love what the Family Bakery do so it was nice to bring some Christmas cheer in the form of an on-brand bakery mural! Thanks to Keith and the team at Famil Bakery for all you do.
