A bespoke fusion of art and atmosphere - this iconic capital bar, featuring custom artistry and sophisticated interiors, showcases custom wallpaper that harmonises both rich textures and vibrant colours. Designed by Aspiring Walls to complement the rich amber banquette seating, it creates an atmosphere of moody sophistication, where colour, texture, and light interact seamlessly. This project is a testament to the power of custom design, thoughtful curation, and a seamless fusion of old-world romanticism with modern elegance.

Te Runanga Toa Rangatira

The legacy of Ngāti Toa Rangatira at Whitireia Polytechnic features a bespoke design that weaves together cultural identity, tradition, legacy and modern living. The Ūpane/Te Awarua project celebrates the rich heritage of Ngāti Toa Rangatira, with a bespoke wallpaper design that is a dynamic visual narrative interwoven with symbols of identity, tradition, and contemporary life. The artwork encapsulates the Iwi’s deep connection to the land and sea, depicting kai moana, treasured taonga, and the revered Takapūwāhia Marae.

Monkfish Bar & Bottleshop

Contemporary bar and bottleshop featuring a bespoke psychedelic orange swirl wallpaper, designed to create a vibrant and inviting atmosphere for good vibes. More than just décor, this bespoke wallcovering enhances the unique character of Monkfish, reinforcing its identity as a cosy refillery and off-licence with a small bar atmosphere. 24/7 Fitness

24/7 Fitness embraces biophilic design with contemporary custom wallpaper, enhancing wellness through immersive forest murals across eight locations in the lower North Island. Aspiring Walls collaborated with 24/7 Fitness to introduce a sense of calm and vitality into their workout spaces using high-impact custom wallpaper. This concept has now been implemented in eight locations across the lower North Island, enhancing each fitness centre with a bold, visual connection to the natural world.

Alexander Turnbull Building

Aspiring Walls partnered with the Alexander Turnbull Library to bring historical artwork to life at architectural scale, transforming archival pieces into immersive, large-format wallcoverings. Aspiring Walls has reproduced intricate works by Giovanni Battista Piranesi for a gallery space within the Alexander Turnbull Library and recreated Charles Heaphy's painting from 1840. Known for their complexity and fine linework, these pieces required meticulous handling to ensure clarity and depth at scale. A powerful example of how custom wallpaper can elevate cultural spaces, turning history into something immersive, accessible, and enduring.

Toll Freight

Brand built into the walls. Aspiring Walls partnered with Toll Freight to translate brand, culture, and corporate identity into a cohesive series of large-format wallcoverings at their Auckland head office. Printed with precision and installed flawlessly, this project highlights the versatility of custom wallpaper in commercial interiors where design, communication, and environment come together to create a unified brand experience.

Our conventional wallpaper factory has been operating since the 1960s, making us the only manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere. Custom wallpaper runs are ideal for large-scale commercial projects requiring consistency, durability, and refined finishes. With a minimum order quantity of 50 rolls per design, this process allows for precise colour control and access to an extensive library of over 150 texture options. Ordering is available with no MOQ across our standard collection.
